The Ukulele event of the year

Monopolele Mediterranean Ukulele Fest 2022 is a 3-day event offering exclusive performance from fine artists from all over Europe. Join us in a beautiful town you will remember!

Two beatiful stages in the baroque Piazza Palmieri and in the old port (where artists will perform in front of the harbour).
The beautiful Carlo V castle to attend workshops and a nice exposition of the finest ukes at the Sala dei Pescatori.
Getting started – beginner level tutorial for all ages offered for free during the event.
A fantastic location to jam at night in the lovely Porta Vecchia beach and a lovely and fun Open-Mic event on Sunday afternoon.

  • George Formby is the legendary ukuleist / banjolelist who innovated the way of playing the ukulele and banjolele with extraordinary rhythmic techniques such as the split stroke and the triplet. Andy Eastwood, one of the greatest followers of this tradition, in his workshop will introduce you to these two essential techniques for every four-string musician who wants to learn syncopated strumming. Three days of music for free!!!

Monopolele 2022 will be free (as in free speech not as in free beer). You can join the sunset and evening concerts, the jam session nights, the open-mic and the getting started tutorials absolutely for free!
