If you are planning your visit to Monopoly to enjoy the festival, here is all the useful information on how <strong>to get there<\/strong>, <strong>where to stay<\/strong>, and <strong>how to get around<\/strong> town. <\/p><hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ud83d\udccd Where is Monopoli located?<\/strong><\/h2><p><a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Monopoli_(Italia)\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Monopoli_(Italia)\">Monopoli <\/a> is a beautiful seaside town located in <strong>Puglia<\/strong>, southern Italy, about 40 km south of <strong>Bari<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Monopoli is a city on a human scale, with a livable center that is easy to explore on foot. Even the outlying areas are well connected to the center by shuttles and public transportation, making travel easy and pleasant. <\/p><p>The city consists of three main zones:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Medieval Old Town<\/strong>: A maze of alleys, squares and white houses overlooking the sea, with picturesque views and historic monuments. All events will take place in the historic center and nearby Vittorio Emanuele II Square. <\/li>\n\n<li><strong>The Murattian area<\/strong>: Characterized by a rectangular plan and neat avenues, built around the large Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II (&#8220;the village&#8221;) this is the area built between the 19th and 20th centuries.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Modern Area<\/strong>: With wide streets, commercial services and newer residential areas.<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In particular, it may be particularly convenient for the festival to stay, in addition to the historic center and the Murattiana area, in the area between <strong>Via Cadorna<\/strong>, <strong>Via Lepanto<\/strong> to <strong>Via Giacomo Leopardi<\/strong>, an area very close to <strong>Piazza Palmieri<\/strong> (10-15 minute walk) and only <strong>5 minutes from Caff\u00e8 Mezzopieno<\/strong>, where the evening jam sessions will take place.
