๐ŸŽถ JOIN THE JAM โ€” BUILD THE SONGBOOK ๐ŸŽถ

Four nights. One community. Your songs.

At Monopolele 2026, the late-night jam sessions return โ€” bigger, better, and more communal than ever. Every evening after the main concerts, the area around the beloved Caffรจ Mezzopieno becomes a living, breathing musical gathering. Lyrics and chords scroll on a large screen. Everyone plays. Everyone sings.

โœจ This year, the songbook is built by the community โ€” and we need you to help lead it.

๐ŸŒ™ How the jam sessions work

There are four jam sessions โ€” Thursday through Sunday night โ€” each starting around 10:30 PM after the main stage concerts. Each session is guided by one or more jam leaders: musicians, ukulele clubs, or ensembles who bring songs, set the vibe, and invite the crowd to play along.

๐Ÿ”‡ After 12:30 AM, the amps go off and the jam continues unplugged โ€” pure acoustic, pure community, as long as the night allows.

๐Ÿ“– How the songbook is built

The 2026 Official Songbook will be published on this website before the festival so that everyone can arrive prepared. It is assembled from two sources:

๐Ÿ” Adopt a song from 2025

Browse the 2025 Songbook โ€” 54 songs already loved and tested on the streets and squares of Monopoli. If one of them belongs in 2026, claim it. You’ll be its guardian: confirm the ChordPro arrangement is correct and, ideally, commit to leading that song during one of the jam sessions.

๐Ÿ†• Propose a new song

Have a song you’d love to play at the festival? Submit it. All new proposals must be sent in ChordPro format โ€” the standard that lets us display chords and lyrics cleanly on the big screen. All submissions are reviewed by the Monopolele team and, if approved, added to the official songbook published on this website before the festival.

๐Ÿ™‹ Who can participate?

Anyone who plays ukulele โ€” solo musicians, duos, ukulele clubs, ensembles, teachers with their students. You don’t need to be a professional performer. You just need a song you love, a ChordPro file, and the willingness to stand up and lead a room full of strangers in music.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ When you submit, we’ll also ask you which evenings you’re available to play โ€” so we can put together the best possible lineup for each of the four nights.

โฐ Submissions close on April 30, 2026. Songs confirmed after that date may not be included in the printed booklet available at the festival.

๐ŸŒŠ This is your festival too. Let’s fill Monopoli with music, together.
