Cattedrale della Madia

School Notes

This will be far more than a musical event — it will be a genuine experience of togetherness. Nearly a hundred students, as many ukuleles, three schools — Vito Intini from Monopoli, Amedeo d’Aosta from Bari, and Mazzini–Capograssi from Sulmona — and an entire class travelling all the way from Cuba. At the heart of it: music played together, the collective force of a powerful chord, the magic of young smiles, and a message sent out clearly, directly, in just a few bright notes — the youngest generation wants harmony and peace in the world. It will be a deeply moving moment (and the organisation extends its heartfelt thanks to all the teachers working tirelessly to make it happen): a true collective rite of music and beauty.

No set list, no rehearsal, no minimum level required — just your ukulele, the warm Puglia night, and a crowd of people who all feel exactly the same way you do after a night like that.
